Writing Poetry Inspired by Art

Inspired by our current exhibition, The Art of Poetry, we are delighted to be collaborating with local poet Harula Ladd for a poetry writing workshop in the heart of the gallery.

Harula will offer a variety of prompts and tips to get you writing your own poetry in response to the wonderful art on display. You don’t need any experience of writing or poetry, just an open mind and an appreciation for beauty and creativity! You may even get the chance to read your work at an exciting event curated by the gallery on 1st February!

The workshop is limited to just 8 participants, so please act quickly to secure your place!

Tickets are priced at just £10 and the evening will take place on Friday 26th January between 7pm to 8.30pm.

Part of the “ART of POETRY” exhibition currently running in the gallery until 10th February and features the work of nine great artists who are also poets.
