Virtual Open Evening
When: Thursday 18 March 2021
Via: Zoom
Starts: 6pm (Zoom open from 5.45pm)
Find out more about Bovey Paradiso and how it will offer fun for all the family!
Our vision is to create a lively community cinema, theatre, arts, restaurant and entertainment centre in Bovey Tracey. Located at the top end of Fore Street, the 16th century King of Prussia is being given a new life and purpose for everybody to enjoy.
In the three years since we launched our first share offer, we have bought the long-closed King of Prussia pub and completely renovated this historic, listed building. Our next challenge is to build the cinema/theatre and restaurant so we can open to the public, welcoming you to our family-friendly space.
The Directors will be hosting a virtual meeting over Zoom on Thursday 18th March from 18:00 and would welcome anyone who wants to find out more about Bovey Paradiso. We will explain our vision, what we have achieved so far (complete with a virtual tour of the building). You may have missed the opportunity to participate in the first share offer, you may be new to the area, you might want to show your support for the local community, or you might be curious to find out what we will have on offer for your family. We will answer questions on these topics and more.
We are also looking for help to deliver this exciting project: from additional volunteer directors - focussing on the Arts and HR - to help with funding and our share offer. We hope you'll want to be involved in something the whole of Bovey Tracey can be proud of. We can’t deliver Bovey Paradiso without your help and support, so come along on the 18th and get involved.
