Talks by Maureen Boon

Paradiso member and author Maureen Boon has given two talks at St Catherine’s Primary School. The first, on July 7^th, was on the Battle of Bovey Heath on January 9^th 1646 to the Year 6 class. The second, on July 10^th was about the Templer Way including the Dartmoor granite railway and Stover canal, to the Year 2 class.  Following this Maureen has been working on a book for children and their teachers on the Templer Way, taking photos along the route and carrying out research at the Heritage Centre in Bovey Tracey.
